Hey hey hey! Happy Monday! It’s time for another round of my current faves. I have been WERKIN this past week (and weekend)! I had a migraine episode so unfortunately spent the entire weekend in recovery mode but at the same time I did manage to get a bunch done while couchbound.
I’ve put out four new blog posts since last week and two new videos on my BRAND NEW YOUTUBE channel. If you haven’t subscribed yet, please go check it out and subscribe!
I’m learning so much and having a lot of fun!
ONE// Promising Young Woman
This MOVIE gahhh! An absolute must-watch. I have been waiting to see Promising Young Woman for months. The general premise is the central character who spends her weekends going out to bait predatory men at bars into taking her home while she’s flat out drunk…or is she? Mwahaha. Carey Mulligan was a dream and I loved the styling of the film. I won’t give anything away just give yourself a night off and watch it. Fun movie night! It’s finally for rent here.
TWO// Coinbase Investing
I’ve been dabbling in cryptocurrencies the past couple of years and this app makes it super easy to start investing. I’ve turned about 600 into 6000 in the past six months. You can get $10 to start investing when you sign up here.
THREE// Silicon Food Storage Bags
How did I not know about this genius invention. Good bye ziplock baggies!! These little sealable containers are like Tupperware and ziplock had a super cute baby. They are practical and I use them for everything from half a tomato to leftover steak for tomorrow’s salad.
FOUR// Plush House Slippers
These would make a great gift for mothers day! I love the burgandy color. Soft, plush, cozy and stylish slippers to lounge around in at home.
FIVE// Roasted Tomato Pesto Recipe
I got this recipe from my friend Whitney’s blog and it is to die for. I’ve made it a few times and it never lasts longer than a DAY in my house, it is that good! You can put it over pasta or use it as a dip for veggies and crackers. The only thing I do differently is add a lot more olive oil to the mix. Yum!!
